Building Schools for the Future Cuts

The Coalition's decision to shelve most of the Building Schools for the Future plans is going to have huge repercussions with local councils. Many of them have made decisions based on accessing this funding and have factored in future pupil numbers into their planning.

This is going to cause a bit of chaos and I'm not convinced the councils have the ability to turn this around.

The easy option is try and dump other schools with extra students. This would be morally and politically wrong.

What a mess.
